What is WatsuGoa?

What's happening at WatsuGoa??
Hi there, training in Watsu and Waterdance at WatsuGoa is being planned again for this season coming starting in December.
After 4 years of planning, hosting, and running WatsuGoa, I am taking a break, and my good friend and practitioner Ben Coolik
and his partner, Melissa Schneider is organising the season, hiring teachers, running the pool and courses, details of which will be on the website soon.
I will be working in India and Goa during the season, (giving sessions) as a WaterDance and Watsu practitioner, developing Contact Dance in Water and putting my energy into developing a portable pool for the Indian community.
Namaste Roger White

WatsuGoa is an established centre for training and practising Water Therapy in Goa India. It is run by Roger White. Roger says: 'I have been living between Goa and Penzance, Cornwall UK for several years now, with winters in Goa India, and summers in UK.  I am a trained massage body therapist and have been giving treatments to all kinds of clients, including the yogis attending courses at local Goan Yoga centres, visitors staying in hotels and retreats in North Goa, and, in the UK, www.water-therapy.co.uk at The Retreat Centre,  Boswedden House, St. Just, Cornwall.

pool training'My love and interest in water therapies can best be described as “More relaxing, intense, and fun than land based therapies” and I was an instant convert, not just for clients, but for myself. The damage to a masseur's hands and feet doing deep tissue massage is well documented and I found that water therapy nurtures my body as well as my clients.

'However, one needs a pool in a peaceful setting, and this I have achieved in the garden of my house in North Goa. I have deliberately made it large enough for up to 10 people to train or 2 therapists to work.'
